Create this one for our preparation of 117 in next May ( although I will still try to go through review or appeal or question process with CPA )

It is worthwhile to learn the lesson from failure to ensure the success next time.

Although till now I still dont understand why I fail.. tried to think of a couple of reasons before I see the personal analysis letter..

1. I may expand a bit too much due to working experience in the FMCG + manufacturing  industry  as management accountant and business experience in online business.. such as I analysed the cash flow risk and brand image risk in moving into instant coffee etc.. Maybe we should only focus on textbook? ( my colleague who got HD only spent 1 week on preparationg and he said he could only focus on the textbook and read the case once due to time constraint)

2. Handwriting - (I know it sounds ridiculous). It is true that I did not do the massive writing for years.. plus I had a lot of resources to write. My handwriting was quiet bad in the paper.. which may dilute the key points?

I will go to have a talk with another colleague who has the fail experience in this subject in previous sememsters and will share his lesson and learning of first time failure and second time success.

I am in sydney.
It is very necessary to group. I had lunch with my colleague who has failed in the first time. The lesson he learned is to study in group for this subject. group members - the more the better..
(although i have grouped this time as well and they passed.. )

这两天和同事们好好讨论了一下，才知道原来考完感觉不错，成绩出来以后Fail的不占少数。我和我同事说起的时候，他们第一个反应就问我是不是 overpreapred了。尤其是主观题，你越想的深，越想联系起实际的工作经验，越容易fail. 一定要只局限于书，答题用词也一定要用书上的！！否则都算错~
有一个同事在考试中用了congruence，而不是work together，都算错了 - review past paper的时候，老师也同意她的答案，但是告诉她，在考试中一定要用书上的用词
另一个同事，以前用了我们公司他参与实际的project经验答题，考完以后感觉很好，结果也fail了。这次他一次考3门，时间限制准备的也比较仓促，但是也全部都过了。
反而是只有一周半准备的那位同学，拿了HD。他说，他根本没有时间去想别的东西，就紧紧张张的把书看了，case看了。就去考了。
（以上同学，全部是母语为英语，职位在functional accounting managers)
以前这种现象多出于CA的考试，现在CPA向CA靠近，主观题加重，评分标准相似。key word一定要和评分SHEEET一样才可以得分.
教训呀教训！正因为这次是最后一门课，太想一次就过了，太重视了，可能很多东西想的过多过深过广，反而没过！

I failed last time as well. The case is about telecommunication industry and i am working for one of the companies mentioned in the case for 5 years. I extended too much as well and failed. This time, when i read the preexam info, it did mentioned that we should use the case fact only. I think as long as you stick to the case fact, you are able to pass it. Good luck!

请问从哪里可以看到personal analysis letter?我在my cpa programe里没找到啊...
