lou mm是不是想拿奖学金啊？
如果不想拿奖学金的话，应该不难，我老公去年申请的Master of applied finance in Sydney, 就是直接去他们的一个information session当场填了申请表格，跟他们专业的人聊了一下，之后把一些材料给他们，就发给offer了。

thanks for sharing…is your husband enrolling the parttime study or full time? (1) I missed out the information session - which is required to attend before application; (2) I need time to organise transcription (I did my bachelor degree in China) and company references; (3) Importantly, I do NOT want to pay full tuition fee, so either I can get some financial help from company I work for or anywhere.

How did your husband find this course?  Is he doing all right?

Don't tell me you gonna have first kid, then enrol to study for appied finance? My friends with kids alway tell me the life is completely different from the single/couple life...

所以，我说我是奥巴桑嘛，再过３周就要做妈妈liao...主要是工作现在太空了，平时每天effective ５个小时，忙一个４D，一个４E。做的东西都熟了，在内审second到financial reporting，一转眼又１８个过去了。这次产假回来，又要做一个４E，都已经是第３个了。如果２０１１年开始读MAF，就可以跟老板申请去Corporate finance （treasury）／fund management 那边去混混。

I am ashamed about what I am doing now. When tennis was on, I always just worked from home so that I could get up late and watch some tennis:-) When no tight deadlines, I go to work at 930 or 10 and finish earlier like today, got home 430... I am really lazy now, not very motivated to learn anymore....

这都是阶段性的...我当时刚刚从firm出来，进了industry就是这样，觉得每天好爽，当时做内审，除了北领地没有去过，所有的州都去过了，每次都是business class，4-5 star hotel，晚上room service，那个时候我enjoy啊...内审老板说：其实这行做下去，you are your own boss！不过10个月过后，发现其实挺boring的，因为不懂公司核心的东西，也就是公司是怎么run的，每天就这样混啊混啊，开会写报告，自己都觉得没有什么value adding...（长了3kg的体重倒是真的）

于是second到financial reporting，第一个4E算是自虐...后来越来越好做，越空闲...我上次performance review，老板说：我觉得你现在做的东西对你太简单了，你要不要去隔壁队伍做manager？！我通过怀孕间接拒绝了...

你现在在firm里面那么自由，很多人都会羡慕你的...我当年就是在firm里面做的太烦神，才不干的！每个人的运气不同，你算是在Firm里面走得很好，很顺的了..
