楼主能借鉴一下你发给Julian的邮件吗?我准备发给我当地选区的议员然后cc Julian。能否加微信私聊? ...
我是这么写的,介绍了一下我父母签证申请的时间线,然后写了接下来的:
I totally understand that this Visa is originally required to be granted offshore. However, as you may recall. Due to COVID-19 in 2020, many applicants reached you to request for the onshore grant concession. On 24/03/2021, after your great efforts, this Visa was finally given a concession to be granted onshore. This concession is only eligible for those applicants who were in Australia and also lodged their visa on or before 24/03/2021.
Now we are experiencing another COVID-19 outbreak. The situation is even worse than last time. The number of affected cases is increasing so fast. At this stage, it is very risky for parents to depart Australia. The chance of getting the virus on the flights will become so high. In addition, different countries have different entry rules and isolation rules, which make it harder to travel overseas. The flights to China are so limited and there are even no direct flights from Perth to China. What's more, even though my parents take all the risks to travel overseas just for the sake of getting their Visa 143 granted, they have to fly back to Australia soon to activate their visa. This will be also risky as the chance to bring the COVID-19 into Australia is also high due to travelling.
We all know, in the middle of a pandemic, the best way to protect ourselves and also people around you is to avoid unnecessary travel. The government should consider it again to issue another concession for people who can not depart Australia due to the current outbreak.
Could you please assist us to raise our requests in the government to help many impacted parents visa applicants.
Thank you very much. |
