IT Connectivity Specialist/Engineer
Mindray Australia service team currently requires a suitably qualified highly skilled IT Connectivity Specialist / Engineer, field based in the NSW, driven to succeed and available to travel across the whole of the country, when needed. You will be willing to work hard to deliver beyond the quality our customers expect. In this role, you will ensure that our customers receive the best possible technical product support.
As an emotionally intelligent professional with proven collaboration skills and an established network with KOL’s in the AU hospitals, you will work with the Service and the Sales Team and facilitate Mindray interface solutions by initiating and closely monitoring / supporting connectivity projects (HL7, RS232, etc), especially patient monitoring systems, are carrying more and more IT functionalities.
Your responsibilities:
IT specialist project:
• Presales consulting and solution design.
• Hospital network structure information collecting and analysis
• Deployment support of the 3rd party interfaces (ADT, EMR, NTP, LDAP, recommend remote support)
• Network settings for Wi-Fi roaming (roaming settings of routers, switches and APs)
• Virtualized installation (VM environment preparation only), VPN access setup
• IT related troubleshooting (all the issue report to service first, if it is IT related, IT team will take over and handle the issue directly)
• Hospital IT department training
plus:
• Build test environments (IT labs with our own equipment)
• Close communication with R&D regarding resolving issues
General service team responsibility:
• Hospital Wi-Fi environment onsite survey
• Installation of monitor, telemetry, CS, WS, VS,MV (with hospital network connection settings and test)
• MLDAP installation and user account management.
• eGateway installation (with connection to monitors and CMS, and link to CIS simulator with ADT, result and alarm channel)
• Documentation of installation
What are we looking for in you?
• Technical background with knowledge of programming, IT hardware & hospital networks
• Experience in healthcare IT related companies, including software companies and medical devices companies
• Customer orientated, with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of IP Networks and associated hardware, both wired and wireless
• Understanding of TCP/IP and other associated protocols
• Knowledge of Desktop and Server operating systems – primarily Microsoft based W7, W10, Svr2008, Svr2012
• Understanding of HL7, both the protocol and how it integrates with hospital systems.
• Mirth connect programming is a plus.
• Experience in hospital IT implementation, or project management is a plus.
