这是Airbnb的房东给的Bicheno的tips， 很全。
Here are some ideas on things to do in the area. Warning - long message :)
付费的企鹅tour是去私人领地看，当地人熟悉企鹅上岸的时间，应该保证能看到。
我们是去的Gordon St尽头靠左的海滩，12月底大概晚9:30-10:00有一群十多只的企鹅上岸。
You have to check out the penguins. There are 2 torches with red cellophane - head down to the rocks to watch them waddle in from the ocean just on dark. They come in along the coastal walk into Bicheno. The best place is the end of the street opposite the United Petrol station (Murray St). White light burns their eyes so be sure to have red cellophane over your light.
One of the best tour attractions is the Bicheno Penguin Tour - just book at the surf shop. Tours operate each night.
There is a beautiful waterhole in the Douglas Aplsey National Park. 10min drive then 10 minute walk to the stunning swimming waterhole.
My favorite Beach is Redbill Beach looking out to Diamond Island. Take the 1st left hand turn from the house if you’re heading towards the shops.

The beach foreshore walk is awesome. Walk down to redbill beach which is the start. Beautiful walk through the trees along the the waters edge all the way to town. You will pass many nesting penguins. Look out for their white Pooh :)
Sunrise at The Blowhole is simply magical if you can be bothered getting up :)
Wineglass Bay is spectacular. Great hikes either to the lookout or if you're up for the challenge down to the beach.
For food supplies - the local IGA (only supermarket in Bicheno) closes around 5:30pm approx.
Little Bay French patisserie is great for coffee and pastry.
Pasinis is excellent for Wood Fire pizza, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is a new little cafe called Sandbar next to the Gallery.
Head to The Farmshed which showcases all wines, gin, vodka and goodies in the area. Located next to The Bakery.
Devils Corner, Milton and Craigie Knowe wineries are a must. The views are spectacular from Devils corner and they offer wood fire pizza and an oyster / seafood bar.

If your after more of a pub / RSL dinner the Beachfront is great. The drive through bottle shop is attached to the restaurant.
The Bakery is great. They serve breakfast from 6am.
If you want fish and chips - head down to The Gulch or The Lobster Shack.
Salty Splash - great burgers and pizza that doesn't blow off your plate.
There is an amazing French restaurant in St Helens called
Furneaux. Highly recommend!

Iron house brewery north of Bicheno is fab. Beer tasting and a lovely restaurant.
If you’re headed North, Pyengana cheese factory is great and Wentworth Falls is stunning.
If you would like some of the best scallops and Oysters in the area, you must head to the Marine Farm which is a great stop on the way back from Wineglass Bay. https://www.freycinetmarinefarm.com
