We're recruiting: IBL Program: IT Service Delivery Assistant
Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific currently have an exciting opportunity for a student to join the department as an IT Service Delivery Co-ordinator. Our 2018 IBL Program will expose you to real jobs, real experiences and real learning which will allow you to gain valuable workplace experience relevant to your chosen field of study.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing strategies to optimize and streamline the existing service delivery process
Identifying IT As-Is landscape and supporting development of To-Be landscape
Coordinating and supporting key stakeholder activities in various ongoing IT projects
Developing small scripts for automation of manual processes
Providing support with day-to-day operations
What we offer:
Our 12 month IBL program is based at our Head Office in Mulgrave and will provide you with the opportunity to begin your Information Technology career with a prestigious global brand. We offer fantastic on the job work experience combined with professional development opportunities to enable you to kick start your future. The program will commence mid-January 2018. You will need to commit to full-time office hours until end of January 2019.
What we are looking for:
You are an undergraduate student currently completing your second year or have at least one remaining year of your tertiary qualification in IT and / or computer science (as at January 2018). You possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and time management skills, and an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. You will have high attention to detail and be diligent when working with complex documents. As this is a varied role, you will be flexible in your approach, eager to learn and happy supporting numerous colleagues. Any basic coding skills, (preferably Python and Batch scripting), as well as basic SQL skills would be advantageous as would any fundamental knowledge in service delivery principles (i.e. Agile/Scrum, Continuous delivery, DevOps).
