在全球航运业非常不景气的背景下,每家船公司都过得很艰难,盈利很少。在这种情况下马士基船公司受到网络攻击导致巨额损失就更加雪上加霜了。
在受到网络攻击之后,马士基全球网络系统彻底瘫痪,无法订船,无法电子申报,无法放货。为了保护收货人的利益,所有到港的货柜产生的滞留港口的费用全部由该公司承担。

I do apologise for any inconvenience thatyou may have experienced during this time where Maersk has been affected by ITIssues due to a cyber attack.
I would like to provide some updates to youin regards to import shipments as per the below:
Customs
We currently have 6 import vessels that havenot been lodged with customs at this time:
Spirit of Singapore - Sydney
Sea Pearl - Sydney
MOL Growth - Brisbane
Laust Maersk - Brisbane
Wide Charlie - Fremantle
MSC Anya - Melbourne
We are working on this as our number onepriority and hope to have lodgement completed today.
Both DP World and Patrick are extendingterminal freetime as per the below:
DP World Vessels - Extended until Wednesday 5th of July
Patrick Vessels - 48 hours from customers cleared and PIN Pushed
EDO Requests
Please send through to au.import@maersk.com and ensure all ofthe below details are provided to our team to be able to process EDO release.
Cash customers to provide below details:
Subject line of email to state EDO Releaseand B/L numbers
Copy of the Bill attached to the email (OBLor Seaway)
Where the original was surrendered
Copy of the invoice
Copy of the bank remittance
Credit customers to provide below details:

而产生这次网络攻击的原因却让人哭笑不得:只有这家公司使用的WINDOWS操作系统,而且没有及时更新软件,而其它船公司使用的是Linux系统,基本上没有病毒。
今天早上收到的信息是网络基本上恢复正常,可以工作了。
