【喜讯】KENT RD小学升级改造指日可待，KENT RD学区房又要涨了

刚收到一封信：
I have an exciting update to provide regarding the petition you submitted concerning upgrades to Kent Road Public School.

Today I joined with Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Treasurer Dominic Perrottet and Minister for Education Rob Stokes to announce the NSW Government is investing a record $4.2 billion in school infrastructure.

In our Ryde community, this funding will see permanent buildings erected to replace existing demountable classrooms at Kent Road Public School and provide for upgrades to the school hall, library and student amenities.

This is absolutely fantastic news for Kent Road Public School and the broader community.

I wish to thank the community and in particular the efforts of the Kent Road P&C led by President Melanie Marcellino. Community support was critical to achieving this outcome.

I will provide you with updates throughout the important planning and construction phases of this significant upgrade. Please let me know if you do not wish to receive further emails in this regard.

Again, congratulations to Kent Road Public School. This is a great result.

这个好，看了一下，华人区喜获升级的有：chatswood, epping, kent road, carlingford, denistone east, Hurstville, west ryde

第4页，还提到要建一个新学校在ryde，不知道具体在哪里，哪位大神知道？

新的学校叫做Smalls Road Public School
大致在north ryde和ryde的交界的地方
Smalls Road那里

太好了， 原来Denistone East也有份呢。

这个当官的还行， 最近Denistone East小学的游泳池也有了眉目，

I am pleased to report that as a result of our community feedback, an agreement has been reached between the Department of Education and Royal Life Saving NSW in relation to the Denistone East Swimming Pool.

Today I was joined by Minister for Education the Hon. Rob Stokes MP, Royal Life Saving CEO David Macallister and Chairman Jim Whiteside, Denistone East Public School P&C President Anna Pleadin, parents and most importantly the students of Denistone East Public School to announce Royal Life Saving will be providing a new $4.5 million pool facility.

I wish to thank the community, and in particular the Denistone East Public School P&C, for their tireless efforts. The new indoor aquatic centre is a great outcome for the school and our general community.

Attached is a photograph from this morning. I also attach an artist’s impression of the centre that has been provided by Royal Life Saving. The refurbishment will be subject to a formal Council development application (DA) and the necessary public consultation associated with the DA.

Thank you for interest in this matter. Your feedback was critical to achieving this outcome.

I will continue to provide updates throughout the consultation and construction phase.
