The Standard applies to all employers and employees who are subject to the Workplace Relations Act 1996. This would
include employees whose employer is:
• a constitutional corporation
• the Commonwealth or a Commonwealth authority
• a body corporate incorporated in a Territory
• a person or entity that carries on an activity in a Territory.
In general, the Standard also applies to employees in Victoria. However, the Standard applies in a slightly different way
in Victoria.
