Rattle The Cage

含义：字面的意思是摇晃笼子，让笼子里的动物不得安宁；引申的含义是故意去打草惊蛇，或者施加压力，以迫使对方采取某些自己希望的行动。

例句：

A: I just can't get the presales engineer to sign off the technical design of this deal. What is he thinking?
B: We can't just keep waiting indefinitely. Why don't we rattle the cage and let his boss know that he's the bottleneck, so that he will either move faster or at least tell us what's wrong.
A: That's a good idea.
