Annual leave????

Can I get paid annual leave if I am not taking it? If yes, when?

Or

I can only get paid annual leave when I actually take it in the financial year.

How to calculate the annual leave?
If I did not take 4 weeks annual leave from last year, it will be add to the new financial, yes or no?

I am not leave. In the same campany from the last year.

And my friend told me, If I didnt take it, I cant get that pay.

I have no idea?

Different company has different policies. Go ask your company's HR person.

You may choose to cash out your unused annual leave upon below condition:
- It must a provision in your workplace agreement regarding forgo the amount of annual leave;
- You must elect in writing to cash out your unused annual leave
- Your employer authorises you to do so.
You can always refer to Workplace Relations Act sec 233 for reference.
