One such recent discovery for me was Liz Jackson's Zalinga Chairman's Reserve Hunter Valley Shiraz. A Len Evan Tutorial Dux, Young Winemaker of the Year finalist and one of the most renowned new generation winemakers in the Hunter - it's fair to say Liz know's her shit.
Made in minuscule quantities from fruit she sources from some of the Hunter's oldest vineyards, this is the sort of Shiraz that put the region on the map. Incredibly rich and concentrated with layers and layers of soft velvety tannins - it's an absolute blinder!
While it's already drinking incredibly well thanks to six years maturation, it's the sort of wine that could easily live forever.
Packed in stunning wooden presentation gift-boxes, with each bottle individually wrapped, this epic Hunter Valley Shiraz normally sells for $139/bottle.
Today, we're letting the last 30 dozen of this extremely limited release wine go for just $39/bottle (in six packs) - offering a massive saving of $100 a bottle!
