Our client, A not for profit organisation which has a strong presence is currently looking for a technically strong  to join their team, immediate start. Our client has built a reputation for excellence with a team of high achievers. The right candidate will have solid accounting knowledge and techniques (1- years commercial accounting experience highly preferred) and will be immediately available.


Bookkeeper & Payroll officer - Wollongong   
Job Duties below



  1. Processing payroll 2 days per fortnight, using MYOB but will upgrade to intuit around April
  2. Distributing payslip by mail, email and hardcopy
  3. Processing and reconcile petty cash, preparing petty cash request form
  4. Processing purchasing order form
  5. Dealing with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  6. Liasing with external and internal stakeholders,
  7. Deal with Month end & financial year reports, dealing with auditors etc


The right candidate's will be:
  1. MYOB , Quickbook and/or other accounting software skills essential, cloud accounting preferred
  2. At least one year accounting work experience essential
  3. Good communication skills.
  4. Well-organised, effective and Good time management
  5.  Australian Permanent Resident or Citizenship is a MUST. The right candidate needs to be willing to stay in this position long as the candidate will experience a transition period of financial system and take care of the new system in a long run


What the right candidate will get:
1. Experience of taking care of all of the accounting functions of an organisation, including payroll for around 50 people . This is very important
2. Salary/Wage will be based on the candidate's education level, capability and competence.
3. The position is very likely to be part-time based at the first place and based on the candidate's performance and how soon he/she can take care of the whole accounting system, full-time basis will be offered
4. When it comes to full-time basis, salary packaging may also be offered.
5. Other benefits include super, holiday+loading, sick leave, time in lieu etc
