We are an established company specialising in the importation and distribution of Asian food products in the Australian market. An opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Representative to join our Melbourne branch in Dandenong South.
Responsibilities include:
· Generate new business and building customer relationships including make phone calls and in-person visits and presentations to the customer.
· Set and achieve sales targets i.e. Develops clear and effective proposal for current and prospective customers.
· Seek and build new business opportunities (not limited to Asian grocery stores) by analysing the market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer value to the organisation.
· Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting , logistic and debt management.
The candidate:
· Solid sales experience ideally gained in the Asian food market must be result focused
· English and Chinese essential, Vietnamese an advantage
· Strong communication and networking skills.
· Proven record of meeting and exceeding sale targets
· Sound methods of growing new customer relationships.
· Self drive and ability to work autonomously.
· Positive attitude and energy with the ability persuade & negotiate all levels.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and friendly manner
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite application and management software (preferably Attaché)
· Valid driving license.
A remuneration package will be negotiable with the right applicant.
