About the Role;
Due to expansion growth and in particular within the Direct Sales division, we have a FANTASTIC opportunity for an enthusiastic & hands on ‘Sales Trainer, Coach & Auditor’ to jump into the hot seat and drive the business. Working with a team of expert industry leaders, you will be responsible for training, developing and auditing the Sales Team within your region. In addition to that, the role allows you the flexibility to roll up your sleeves and use your sales techniques in coaching your team members.

Reporting to the National Training Manager, this role will be accountable for all the sales training and coaching requirements along with compliance assessments of all field staff through both group training and one on one in-field assessments. You will be managing the induction process for new employees and ongoing sales training and coaching for existing employees. You will also be charged with analysing training results and performing in-field audits to recommend and design training initiatives to improve performance.

This role will provide you with autonomy, flexibility and the ability to be innovative in your role. With a strong team of Sales Reps in your region, you will roll out new sales techniques and work closely with the team to drive performance to the next level. We are looking for a candidate that is proactive & self-motivated with a genuine desire to assist others and invest in others’ ongoing learning & development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference.

About You;
Ideally we are looking for a strong candidate to ‘hit the ground running’ and be confident in being able to self manage along with our client’s strategic direction. Key attributes comprising of:
•        Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (preferred but not essential)
•        Extensive experience in sales, in particular direct sales or contact centre
•        Training & development experience (highly regarded)
•        Experience or understanding of the energy sector –gas/electricity (highly regarded)
•        Experience in leading, motivating and inspiring teams (highly regarded)

To be considered for this position ideally you would be either an experienced sales professional or training consultant (or both) – looking to take the next step in your career.

You will be proactive in keeping up to date with compliance issues affecting the energy industry and have experience of leading performance improvement initiatives, managing significant change projects and communicating your vision that empowers the company to embrace a fully compliant culture.
