Death是死金的代表。关于这些重口味的金属，我并不能够完全欣赏。在听的时候，对我很重要的一点是————把歌词先找出来！否则不知道在唱什么！这和英语程度的好坏完全无关。

俺多半是不听歌词的，听音乐和感觉为主。象Death Metal的歌词一般都不是太好，以描写死亡为主。不过很喜欢DeathMetal的节奏，而后期的北欧来的Black Metal就不是很能接受，感觉 Death Metal 相比之下要温顺多了。

According to wiki:

"The title was widely rumoured to have stood for "Nativity in Black" (or to a much lesser extent, "Name In Blood"). In a 1992 interview, Geezer Butler states that the title simply refers to Bill Ward's goatee at the time, which the rest of the band thought was shaped like a pen nib; also referred to as nibby.[2] Apparently, Geezer Butler said: "Originally it was Nib, which was Bill's beard. When I wrote N.I.B., I couldn't think of a title for the song, so I just called it Nib, after Bill's beard. To make it more intriguing I put punctuation marks in there to make it N.I.B. By the time it got to America, they translated it to Nativity In Black."

Mercyful Fate （King Diamond ）的整张专辑常常是一个吸血鬼，或是僵尸复活的故事，像金属歌剧，音乐相当流畅。

现场版的Metallica和Mercyful Fate （King Diamond)同唱一首歌 Garage Inc. 相比之下Metallica的James嗓音真是烂。James早期很低调，声音在乐器后面很轻，90年开始越来越靠前，盖住了乐器，这也不喜欢他们原因之一。不过Kirk的吉他Lars的鼓还是一流的。

看到ozzy年轻的样子真的很难和后来在真人秀里搞笑形象联系起来。

北欧旋律死金里我最喜欢芬兰的Eternal Tears of Sorrow。

谢谢分享，Eternal Tears of Sorrow没听过，有机会试试。LS如果喜欢北欧的Melodic death metal的话，可以试试Amorphis， Dark Tranquillity。 俺更喜欢相对重一点的Melodic death metal，如Carcass后期的作品。

挪威乐队Opeth是一支风格多样的Death Metal乐队。他们2003年出的《Damnation》专辑重旋律的风格与同期出的《Deliverance》的震耳欲聋的金属风格大不相同，令歌迷又惊又喜。俺家LD在俺熏陶下也可以听听Black Sabbath。有一次听到Opeth的《Damnation》后说，这么轻柔也可以算金属？
