请问各位大人，Aged parent (subclass 804)排队的话要等多久啊？

我爸爸超过65岁了，是不是676上面没有8503就可以申请？

本人亲自问过移民局，BV可以短期离境，一般不超过三个月。
现在境内申请排队的，移民局给的回复是10年，但这里也有人说可能会比这个短一些，6-8年左右。反正也跟10年差不了多少了。早申请早排队才是王道。

Parent (non-contributory) visa queuing arrangements

In the 2011–12 Migration Program year, 2000 Parent (non-contributory) visa places are available for applicants applying from in and outside Australia.

To ensure equity, all Parent (non-contributory) visa applications are assessed in order of lodgement, assigned a queue date and then placed in the queue for the relevant visa subclass. You will be advised of your queue date when your application reaches this stage.

The queue date is the date that the application was assessed as meeting the initial criteria for a Parent (non-contributory) visa. When a queue date has been assigned it is a fixed date and the application cannot be given priority ahead of other applications. Applications are finalised in order of their queue date as places become available.

Based on current planning levels, if your are applying for a Parent (non-contributory) visa you can expect an approximate 15 year wait before visa grant consideration after being allocated a queue date.

This waiting period is reflective of the significant number of Parent (non-contributory) visa applications in comparison to the limited number of visa places available each Migration Program year.

Contributory parent category queue

In the 2011–12 Migration Program year, 6500 Contributory Parent visa places are available for applicants applying from in and outside Australia.

Based on current planning levels if you are a new Contributory Parent visa applicant, you can expect to wait 12 to 24 months before visa grant consideration, depending on your circumstances. As current migration planning levels sufficiently cater for demand for these visas, if you are a new Contributory Parent visa applicant, you will not be provided with a queue date.

However, if you are applying for Contributory Parent visa, you should note that processing times can vary. It is important that you ensure you have funds available for the second visa application charge at all times during the application process, as payment may be required at an earlier date than was anticipated at the time of visa application lodgement.

谢谢你的信息，但是我问的是Aged parant呀，而且是Onshore，还是有区别的吧我想。不过即使是10年我还是觉得太长了。

Priority processing times

Application processing times are given priority depending on which Family Stream visa you apply for. The following are examples of priority processing times:

如果你有材料证明给移民局，你的签证case是很紧急的，就不需要等那么长，不然就是普通的排队，时间长短在于每年移民局发放你这类visa的数量，在你之前申请人数。
所以10年也好，15年也好，甚至于以后20年也不一定，如果想移民。是越早越好，因为排队又先后，即使从普通类到付费类，你之前排队的日子也计算在内的。
当然，移民是一件大事，需慎重考虑。

onshore，offshore都是排队
上面的大侠们都告诉你了啊
飞儿说的20年，以现在已经递交申请的，而且移民政策不变，每年配额不变的情况，那么排在你父母之前的那些申请人如果全部都能活着熬到签证受理的情况下，你父母轮到获签那就是20年，而且到时还要符合健康检查，其实到那时候健康检查是很难通过的，很多老人得癌症，严重心脏病，常年高血压or糖尿病，老年痴呆等等，这些都是通不过的。
实际情况是，本来就是年纪大了，一些申请人没等到就过世了啊，所以实际上是不用20年，但10年是要的，除非某个移民部长上来心情大好，放开父母移民的配额，但澳洲基本不可能放开父母移民的配额。我说话直白，但这是事实，
你父母年纪现已到达aged parent年龄界限，又愿意在澳洲生活，那还是申请付费移民比较好，早点拿到身份为佳。澳洲医疗费用很贵，老人用到医疗的方面多过年轻人，如果是排队等签证，那所有的医疗负担都在小辈身上，老年人的医疗保险的费用肯定是多过年轻人，你这点要考虑，而且拿到PR，senior card还是有点用处，10年后可领取老人津贴。
如果等待排队签证，从费用节省上没看出很大优势。
假如你当前资金紧张，可以先为父母办理临签，然后再转永居。

很多老人得癌症，严重心脏病，常年高血压or糖尿病，老年痴呆等等，这些都是通不过的。
如果这些都通不过，哪有几人能通过呢？

我目前知道的也说是20年以上.

其实想想都知道,目前付费的一年大概6500个名额,从申请到下来都要平均一年半到2年.然后非付费的一年才2000个左右的名额,如果说只要等6-8年的话,那大家就都去排队了,何必付那个10万呢.....我想很多父母是愿意省10万多澳币的如果只要多等4,5年的话.......

Aged parent (Subclass 804)与普通父母移民（103）是分开排队的，两个队每年分配的名额比例大概是3:7。请看下面移民局网页上的介绍：

In the 2011–12 Migration Program year:
2000 places will be allocated to Parent (non-contributory) visas, including approximately 1500 places for Parent (subclass 103) visas and approximately 500 places for Aged Parent (subclass 804) visas

国会每年批的总名额不定，明年总名额比今年多了150人，达到2150人， 分到804队里应该是540人左右。现在804队里大概有不到4000多人吧，LZ可以自己估算一下要等多少年。

分配到queue date才算排上队，现在申请到排上队还有好几年。

移民局官方讲法是现在递交申请，一切顺利的，15年可以拿到签证。第二段，http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/ ... sing-priorities.htm

父母类移民的体检要求是没有豁免。

(a)      is free from tuberculosis; and

(b)      is free from a disease or condition that is, or may result in the applicant being, a threat to public health in Australia or a danger to the Australian community; and

(c)      is free from a disease or condition in relation to which:

(i)      a person who has it would be likely to:

(A)      require health care or community services; or

(B)      meet the medical criteria for the provision of a community service;

体检结果是MOC[ Medical Officer of the Commonwealth]来决定，然后回告诉签证官。
难民类的或者雇主担保的签证类的虽然MOC评估下来没通过但是法律允许签证官豁免体检不通过的人，而804不行。
除非是能弄到Substituted subclass 676 visa，那么境内申请804时就算体检不通过也可能可以获签804。

现在804队里有3370人左右，今年配额是500人；
大家可以估算一下。

804都是onshore，103都是offshore

804最大的好处是在澳洲等待，就像得到一个长期居住签证, 另外，也许还能退点税。但这种过桥签证比PR少了一个medicare，所以，经常看病的老人不太合适

这样算来，103是要15年了，除非国会大幅增加配额。移民局说要等15年是有道理。

那如果先排103，等老人过了65岁再换成804是不是能快点？

804 on shore 要签证没有8503 阿， 这个一般拿不到阿

想问问如果申请3亇月探亲签，没8503，在境内申请804，交了申淸表就回国可以吗？就不用担心等待期的医疗费用了。

离开澳洲时必须有个Bridge Visa B，在规定时间内回来，否则，你的804申请就作废了啊

看来我父母只能申请103了。本来想着804可能快些，但他们目前又不愿意在境内等。谢谢大家的解释！

以后申请804时，还是要看再入境时有没有8503.
804与103大概是两个不同的队，不太可能从103队中途加到804队里吧

这次爸妈607过来都没有8503，所以想咨询一下的。不过让他们在这里常住，他们心里不太愿意。
