手里攒着大胃穷死的礼券就是不出手,我倒要看看苹果这下怎么解决牛排过热的问题.去苹果论坛看了下,这发热看来真是个问题,最糟糕的是问题出现的还不稳定,呵呵,教主不在了,这帮浑球就开始败家了,前两天那苦克还大肆宣扬苹果前太多了,要撒点给股东,这不是公开把教主在世时候创造的财富往自己口袋里面装吗,sigh

就担心会出几个爆炸们,燃烧门或者漏电门,我们还是静观其变吧,总感觉这次牛排挺悬的.

I have 32GB Wifi. UPS brought it Friday morning, it had an 89% charge. I played with it (surfed, chatted, added info, music etc..) it held the charge beautifully. Didn't notice a heating problem until today. The sucker got HOT! Figured it was time to charge anyway since it was just about depleted. I plug it in and go about my business, six hours later and it's only at 25%, still HOT, but not only that.....my charger is very HOT as well.  I have multiple sclerosis - hot is bad! I also noticed that while my Smart Cover was on, it didn't go to sleep. *sniff sniff*

The new iPad does get hot after 20 min. Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. Maybe apple should call this new iPad, your new frying pan also. After 20 m cook some eggs on it..  Apple should really release something for this. People shouldn't invest all this money and buy another iPad with upgraded specs same like design 90% identical and have this issue. It should be fully tested by engineers before laying out in market.  Yes it does look like the warming generates from the bottom left of back of iPad.

my new ipad also has heating problem and it was quite hot when I use it putting on the bed.

The thing is my ipad screen cracked with a single hair line while I'm using apps without any drop.

I can't say that's because of heating. But, I suppose it's linked to that problem.

a technician in the genious bar said that it's rarely happened but there is a case somehow.

Here are my stats:


32GB WIFI only, black


case 1: Uncomfortably warm within 30 minutes while browsing at ~90% brightness.

case 2: Very uncomfortable to hold after running a 3d game for 30 minutes on full brightness (no overheating error message though).

Case 3: Could cook an egg on it if I run a 3d game for 30 minutes and it is inside a leather folio case. Still no overheating error though.  I did this only as a test for a short time before I removed it because I was certain it would get damaged being that hot.

WARNING - is there a danger of electric shock?


OK, so here I am in front of my iMac, corded extended keyboard, reading your post. I reach a hand over to feel the back of the new iPad, which is sitting in an Apple dock charging a few inches away from the keyboard (screen on). And ZAP, as soon as my fingers touch the back of the iPad, I get a sharp little electric shock on the part of my wrist that happens to be touching the aluminum corner of the keyboard.


I put a finger of one hand on the back of the iPad (bottom left) and then touch the edge of the keyboard with a finger of the other hand, and there is a very intense burning sensation on the finger touching the keyboard.


I am in Europe (maybe it is a European voltage thing) -- but it seems to me that there is definitely a danger of electric shock.


So while I was maybe nearly electrocuted, I can at least report that my iPad is not too hot.

别说牛排了，我觉得iphone都有点漏电啊。
有时候手指碰到手机，特别是充电的那个地方，有点麻麻的。

MD，看了一下苹果网站上的抱怨贴，觉得不是个例啊。。。

这次苹果玩大了，这么严重的问题这么可能没有自己发现?

这个分析得比较到位的：

According to the iFixit teardown, the entire right side of the iPad 3, looking at it from the rear, contains the three lithium polymer battery cells. The left side, again looking at it from the back, contains the processor, circuit board, and camera circuitry in a strip compartment about 1-2" wide that extends from the top of the iPad to the bottom. The iPad 3 is basically a battery with a screen attached. I'm not surprised it runs warmer (though I haven't really noticed it on mine and I just charged it for the first time). If it's getting really hot, there may be a problem with the battery management circuitry; take it back to Apple and have them check it out.
