Open a Virgin Saver and we'll give you $50 bonus^ when you set up an Automatic Savings Plan and save $1K or more a month for 3 months.
Offer details:^ To be eligible for the one off $50 bonus you must:
a) Apply for a Virgin Saver between 26 September 2011 to 31 October 2011 and
b) Set up an Automatic Savings Plan that deposits at least $1000 each calendar month for at least 3 consecutive months before 31 January 2012.
Account must be activated in order for the Automatic Savings Plan to be processed. To activate your Virgin Saver you need to make an initial transfer using the online, or telephone banking service, provided by the financial institution holding your nominated linked account. Accounts become active 3 days after you transfer the funds from your nominated linked account. Account set up and activation generally takes 10 business days. Available to new Virgin Saver customers only. Limit 1 $50 bonus per customer. Eligible customers will have their $50 bonus credited into their Virgin Saver account by 29 February 2012. The $50 bonus may be treated as assessable income and create a tax liability.This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Virgin Money offer, is not redeemable for cash,is not transferrable and may be amended by Virgin Money at any time without notice.
Follow Step 3 of your Virgin Saver online application to set up an Automatic Savings Plan.
Or once you have opened your Virgin Saver account, you can set up your Automatic Savings Plan in 3 easy steps (please note your account must be activated):
1. Log into your Virgin Money Online Account and head to 'My Payments & Transfers'.
2. Select 'Virgin Saver Transfer' from the 'To' section and enter the amount you want to save.
3. Then choose the frequency by selecting the 'Set Schedule' option.
For security reasons, you cannot make one-off transfers or set up an Automatic Savings Plan from your linked account within Virgin Money Online until your account has been activated.
To activate your account, transfer funds of any amount from your nominated linked account into your Virgin Saver using the online, or telephone banking service, provided by the financial institution holding your linked account. You'll need our BSB 242-265 and your Virgin Saver Account number. Only funds transferred from your linked account will activate your Virgin Saver and your account will be activated 3 business days after we receive the funds.
