Ask for Help - 457 Medical Levy exemption

I came to Australia for working last December with UC457 visa, my husband did not come along with me and I also have no kids. So may I have the Medical Levy exemption in 2010-2011 FY? How I can deal with it? Thanks very much.

download this form, certify every page of your passport and visa. Post to the address , i remember I post one to Tasmania. If they accepit it they will issue an certificate and mail back to you. You can do your tax return now and do the certificate later but not too late

Hi, thanks very much.

And I am still a little confused on the last point you mentioned, why it can be done later? is it not necessary to include it for logding in E-tax? additionally, how long will it take to get the certificate? May I have the softcopy of the certification and submit through E-Tax?

Sorry, this is my first time to do tax process, so too much qustions....,

u dont need a copy when you lodge etax, u need to keep a copy if ATO come to ask for supporting documents which is the exemption certificate
