Senior Financial Analysts

Your role:
Senior Financial Analysts provide advice on funding allocation, monitoring the financial position of agencies and Government businesses, recommending appropriate action and initiating and managing projects designed to improve resource allocation and the financial and economic performance of government businesses.

Your skills:
You must be able to demonstrate that you have
high level analytical skills with strong conceptual and research skills
effective verbal and communication skills
experience in policy, business, financial, economic or risk analysis with the ability to undertake assessment of agency/business performance
organisation and project management skills
awareness of government policy issues
tertiary qualified - in finance, business, economics, accounting, law or other relevant discipline
Your reward
Total remuneration up to $108,319 including salary within the range $89,076 to $98,159.
Employer's contribution to superannuation & leave loading is additional to salary.

This selection criteria does not say how long for experience but requires HIGH LEVEL. So I am thinking you will be OK if you can provide the evidence of doing analysis in a senior position, or in a complex financial enviornment, or for a large project for a reasonable period, say 2 - 5 years? Of course, the longer, the better.


I am saying this just based on whatever info provided, and do not guarantee my reply is correct.

不错，感觉没啥事情做，人工配的也不错. 政府工真的会每年加薪水吗？ 如果这个职位的预算就这么多呢？不会是一个前台每年涨工资，那不是10万也没问题？

能跟上通涨是肯定的

前台总有一天会涨到10w，但那时候买根葱也比现在贵不少了。

2年应该不够申请吧，毕竟是grade9/10的。。。还是蛮senior的

It depends on how good your competitors are and how well you present yourself in the Selection Criteria and interview. Everything is possible.
