Just wonder who is trading live here?

Hi All,

I'm still new to this forum and want to know more about you guys and gals. Sorry that I like to use English because my Chinese typing is too slow.

Just wonder anyone here is trading live now? Anyone like to share? For those doing demo or paper trading, you are more than welcome to share if you like.

• what market you trade?
• what products? (stock, CFD, FX, warrants, futures, etc)
• how long you been trade live?
• fundamental or technical?
• what kind of trader you are? (trend, swing, breakout, day, scalp, range, etc)
  

I start with myself.

• I trade US market for stocks using Pairs Trading strategy. Day trading on futures. And little with FX.
• It is hard to define when did I start exactly. Started with stocks long time ago, and didn't know what I was doing. I started with CFD about 5 years ago. Then active trading since 2008 with stock option. And now, pairs trading with stocks for 1 year and 7 months day trading on futures.
• pure technical
• my style is range, breakout, and little scalp
  

that's it. and again, welcome anyone to share their experience.

那LZ真应该好好看看这里的板块，哪有人在做模拟啊？

I really don't know who is doing sim or demo or live. That's why I ask. I do read some posts. Some people seems like have trading experience. I'm not sure and I don't want to guess. That's another reason I ask. More, some people just very good at talking and actually do nothing. Even worse, some people are paid to talk. Please don't read me wrong, I don't mean this forum has someone being paid to talk. I don't know. But I am very sure that it does happen in some forums.

If someone happy to share, that's great. If not, that's ok as well.

那就欢迎加入我们的讨论队伍。。这里股票，外汇讨论得多，期货和指数比较少。

我个人做CFD是3年的经验，主要用来短线做股票，很少做期货，指数及外汇。

中长线的主要用margin lending 来做股票。

LZ 最好还是type些中文, 纯英文好像总有些怪怪的感觉。只是个人感受。

另外想听听LZ对大盘短期走势的看法。

I try my best to use Chinese. As I said in the #1 post, my Chinese typing is slow.

首先我假設 你的大盤是 ASX200 和短期是日圖.

在周圖, 4800-4900 is very strong Resistance, 4500 is very strong Support
I would stick my eyes at these levels. When these levels broken, a new trend is likely to form.

At daily, 4600 is very strong support, and resistance at 4800.

This week close at 4762 which is close to 4800, so my short term view is bearish and range between 4600 and 4800.

The range may even narrow between 4700 and 4800 due to the Christmas and New Year. Second, the volatility has been dropped a lot since Jun. Daily range is about 90 points at Jun - Aug, and now is about 58.

Because I use the chart is for SPI future, so the price would be little different to the actually index and CFD.

ps. I tried to type in Chinese. Just too slow and I have to think how to input the Chinese that lost my thought.

我做过FX和澳股，现在还在做，不过我是典型的Mum／dad investor，平时一直看，很少动的

my definition of mum/dad investor is those people just act according to the hot stock tips from those claimed stock experts or another mum/dad, or act to the news from a taxi driver. Do you still think you are one of them? Just my feeling that you are not.

btw, how can I 加分 to other people post? I can't find it...

I think mum/dad investors should be those who mostly invest in top 50 blue chips especially with defense and high dividends, such as TLS, WOW and 4 big banks.

I would call these people Long Term Investors... instead of mum/dad investors.

Almost same. But if you read oz newspaper, those shares are referred as mum/dad shares, so there is a such 叫法.

may be you right as I don't read much newspaper, so I don't have this concept in mind.. in order to find out the answer, I ask my best friend Mr Google, and it gives me the following answer
