Herald Sun 调查统计 CABRINI Malvern 成为新妈妈最满意医院,满意度97%。
CABRINI Hospital has topped a Sunday Herald Sun survey of new mothers to uncover Victoria's best maternity hospitals.
The private hospital in Malvern scored a near-perfect satisfaction rating from first-time mothers who delivered there, followed closely by the St John of God private hospitals.
The public Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg was close behind, and the private Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne also scored highly.
The vast majority of hospitals were rated as "excellent" or "good" by almost all mothers who delivered babies there.
Only four of the 427 new first-time mothers surveyed rated their hospital as "very poor" or "poor" as a place to give birth.
Highett mother-of-three Carly Moran said she chose Cabrini for her first birth because of its great reputation.
"People said, 'Go to Club Cabrini - it's like going to a hotel'," said Mrs Moran, 34, who gave birth to daughter Clio at Cabrini this week.
"And it lived up to its reputation.
"It has everything you would want from a health and care perspective - the nurses and midwives are great.
"But it's also a really nice environment which means you can really enjoy bringing a baby into the world and those first few days.
"You don't feel like you're in a hospital. It's not too clinical or sterile. There are nice pictures on the walls, things you'd have at home rather than what you'd think of in a hospital room.
"And they make your partner really welcome. Most rooms here have double beds. My husband has stayed every night with all three kids - that's a really special thing."
who gave birth to William at Cabrini this week.
"It doesn't feel clinical. It's close to home, which is good. Our family are close to here as well so that's good for when they want to come and visit, and all our doctors are here as well, which is excellent." |
