DHL的官方回复来了,我估计这笔钱是逃不掉了。。。给姐妹们看下计算方式,算是花钱买教训了。。。
Please find below details and calculation of the charges;
Customs duties are determined by the classification of the goods in the Customs Tariff and the rate that applies to that tariff classification, as at the date the goods arrive
The rate of exchange is determined by the date of export.
In general the customs value of the goods is the transaction value excluding postage and insurance, but if transaction value cannot be satisfactorily determined, Customs and Border Protection may apply identical goods or similar goods valuation methods.
Duty Calculation:
Duty = ITOT*5%
= AUD$1072.25 * 5%
= AUD$53.61
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is also payable on most goods. GST is calculated at 10% of the value of the taxable importation (VoTI) which includes customs value of the goods - usually the transaction value without the postage and insurance costs. If transaction value can't be determined, identical goods or similar goods valuation method may be applied by Customs and Border Protection plus the applicable amount of duty plus the cost of freight (and insurance, if any) to ship the goods to Australia.
GST CALCULATION
The GST on a shipment is calculated at 10% of the VoTi value.
The VoTi value = The Customs value + Transport & Insurance + Duty (if applicable) + WET (if applicable)
= $1072.25 + $ 109.60 + $53.61
GST = 10% of the VoTi value
Therefore your GST charges has been calculated as:
The VoTi value = $1072.25 + $ 109.60 + $53.61
= 10% of $1235.46
GST = $123.55
