UTS is more practical, you finished with 2-3 years of working experience, much easier to land a decent job when you graduate. UNSW, very limited experience, but very strong technically, need to work your way up slowly. In reality, not many big companies look at where you graduate after 5 years. Over the past few years, IT industry has shrunk significantly, as companies started outsourcing IT to India (mostly) for cheaper running costs, cloud based technology and AI also replace thousands of traditional IT roles.
Back in my years UNSW was rated higher.
Now, I would look at what courses they offer which there is still going to be good demand here in Australia, then make your own decision. |
