He is my Valentine's Day pressie, and he means more than that.

The little baby boy joined us on a very special day on which the worst natural disaster happened in Victoria's history. To refresh your memory, it was last Sunday when the bushfire swept through regional Victoria and took over 100 people's lives.

The little baby boy's picture was just there on the internet to attract my eyeballs. Once I saw it I was so eager to hold him and my will was so firmed to hold him immediately!

On all the way east to Gippsland where the cat's breeder is located, roads were blocked, under the sun
poor police men with long sleeves and pants were sweating yelling to the cars to drive around. We asked
what was actually going on and were told that there were bushfires spreading across the countryside.
Getting later afternoon, the sky was getting darker and darker. It looked like night was falling upon the
whole country. Smoke started arising from everywhere, above which was the red reflection of fire in the far distance. It could be imagined how the blazes and heatwave had been frantically sucking every piece of
the land...

After returning home safe and sound, my housemate asked me: have you rescued the little kitten from the fire?...

I have always been longing for a fluffy cat which I am going to name it "meatball", now "fireball" makes
more sense, but do I really want to call my kitten in such a memorable and saddening way? I guess not...

I have made donation to Victorian bushfires Relief Fund. Let's wish the people who lost their lives peace and show our respect to those who have been fighting the fire.
