You may need to confirm your identity when claiming a payment or service.
To confirm your identity, you must provide 3 original documents from the list on the confirming your identity form. This includes:
1 document verifying your birth or arrival in Australia, such as a birth certificate, visa or citizenship certificate, and
2 documents showing the use of your identity in the community, that is:
1 primary document, such as an Australian Driver Licence or Marriage Certificate, and
1 secondary document, such as a bank ATM card or statement
