Pull the Plug

含义：很形象，就是把电插头给拔了，然后就没电了，然后就动不了了...

例句：

CIO: bulaohu, your project has now overspent 300% of the initial budget and you are yet to deliver me something, ANYTHING!
bulaohu: but sir, we're getting so close. Once we finish, this will be the bread winner for the company for the next decade!
CIO: I think I need some bread to survive the next six months first. I'm sorry, I have to pull the plug.
