双手双脚投commercial。working environment不说，光就timesheet，wip report就受不了，感觉一个无形的枷锁时刻提醒你不能偷懒count every minute。当然这是个人拙见。

“只要工资ok” 目标是多少？现在firm的规模决定你可以跳的公司的规模，还有你是做audit的还是business service的？
commercial 在同一家里面做，如果职位不变，涨工资不会给firm快，要涨工资都是要跳槽升职的

I started from a firm for 3 years and recently moved to commercial.

the only thing I can say about firm is you can do part-time -as long as you are not at manager level

Some senior accountants in my old firm do part-time or school hours(very flexible), they just finish off their WIP and pass to someone to review then start another one....no pressure at all

说实话，呆了几个firm timesheet走形式，我把所有聊天时间写admin都无所谓。但你说的对，无论对timesheet的松紧，都是一个无形枷锁。比如以前可以几周submit一次timesheet，现在每周都要送。

我要求很低，70-75k plus super 不ot 压力不太大的工作就好。毕竟以后孩子教育啥，都是我要管的。所以我知道哪的多肯定估计不了家庭太多。一直business service，公司规模都是20-40人的firm。

我目前公司搬家后，就很远。所以要换。对啦，我以为commercial是一个公司里面稳步涨工资，幅度也较大（对比firm），原来也要靠跳槽啊

Thank you. When did u change to commercial?

Also, I agree with u. All the firm I worked are not necessarily  stressful. But most of them only gave you pay rise when u ask for it. How do you feel the difference between the firm and commercial company, in terms of pay, stress level and career opportunities?

我要求很低，70-75k plus super 不ot 压力不太大的工作就好。。。
正在firm(big4)加班，71K（super included）,天天OT，时不时十一二点，压力大得常常睡不好的我看得很心塞。。。

四大不适合我啦。留给20出头年轻人吧。而且一直觉得四大的pay其实很低，从total work hrs来说的话。当然大公司学习经验好，resume也好看！

职位没有升的，涨CPI已经不错了，你的经验找回firm 的工作70+super肯定有吖，如果找AA 感觉现在很多都60+左右而已吧

big 4 first mover，很吃香吖.......随便一跳就100k 啦

从四大跳到commercial的表示，的确到了commercial后，涨工资要靠跳槽，commercial内部同级别的，工资都可以很大差异，如果工资比同级别的低，不跳槽就更没提升工资的可能，真要走了还可能多点bargaining power，如果真是公司需要的人是很可能可以涨的。

谁告诉你commercial涨工资的 就随cpi而已。除非跳槽

well....I cannot tell much about the difference...I only worked for 1.5 week so far ( and will move to an other commercial AGAIN...long story...LOL)


I think the working environment is quite different:

in practice I don't have much experience in dealing with client by myself only, most of the time is the partners talking while we were siting there. prob because I was only a junior accountant - I don't do audit, business advisory only. so basically my work was supervised by my senior/manager.

In commercial I think commutation skill is necessary, not only  to client, you have to deal with internal queries.
also accounting system is different, it's actually an extension from the operation system.

but accounting knowledge is the same for sure.
