最近悉尼连降暴雨，一直在祈祷那边的house别出什么问题，今天还是来了。

这是早晨租客给中介的信

The garage got flooded this weekended, all the way to the back. There is a major problem with water run-off at the house. I believe a deeper channel will need to be added to divert water away from the garage and around the house as the soakwells that are there are not working.

We've not been able to fully assess the damage as yet and I've added a thick blanket at the garage doors as an interim measure.

然后中介回的

I believe like many other properties is the volume of rain falling in one hit and this is causing the problem. Therefore to try and cater for serve storms is not achievable or cost efficient.

Has the problem been occurring due normal rain periods?

For the damage are you taking about your own items? Hopefully you have personal constants insurance as the owners insurance would not cover you.

我刚才给中介打电话，说他现在管的很多物业都有这个问题，不用理会。如果是normal rain periods还有这个问题，就会
找Plumber check.

但是还是不放心，刚才看了看http://www.tenants.org.au/factsheet-22-storm-damage，
好像造成损失还得是需要赔的。

请问一下有类似经历吗？
