悉尼大学2015年度奖学金重大调整：99.90也将自动获得10,000每年。

The University of Sydney is excited to launch a new holistic and comprehensive undergraduate scholarship for high achieving students: the Sydney Scholars program.  

Sydney Scholars will receive more than just financial support. The program is designed to provide talented undergraduate students with access to; leadership programs, mentoring, internships, priority accommodation, alumni and employer engagement and many more individually tailored opportunities.  A full suite of Sydney Scholar benefits will be implemented over the next two years.
The Sydney Scholar Program for 2015 will include:
Sydney Scholar Chancellor’s Award – in recognition of outstanding academic achievement, students with an ATAR of 99.95 or equivalent will automatically receive the Sydney Scholar Chancellor’s Award. The benefits include $10,000 every year for the duration of their undergraduate degree, mentoring, guaranteed access to accommodation and leadership programs.
Sydney Scholar 99.90 – students with an ATAR of 99.90 or equivalent will also automatically receive $10,000 every year for the duration of their undergraduate degree.
Sydney Scholar 95.0 – students with an ATAR of 95.0 or equivalent plus other achievements can apply for a scholarship to receive $6,000 for either their first year of undergraduate study or the duration of undergraduate degree. This will be assessed by a combination of equity and merit circumstances. Applications are open now and close on Friday 3 October 2014.

这样好啊，来墨尔本的悉尼学生会少点，都呆在自己的城市，减轻父母的负担

应该是医科除处吧(起码UNSW是这样)，其实每年99.90以上也只有六、七十个同学左右，据UNSW自己说每年能吸引六成左右此类同学入读，剩余很大部分也是以满分入读USYD的医学院或其它州份的。现在USYDN降0.05分估计也只是与UNSW看齐而与，始终对于99.90以上的同学来说可以有很多选择，不会单看这10k一年的奖学金而盲目奔USYD。 至于说到奖学金的吸引力，还要结合大学所提供的其它配套Program(例如到企业的实习机会，与其它国外大学的互换计划等等)才可以吸引到足够的眼球。
