好少有留学生的问题
Generally, if you finish your course earlier than expected, once (or if) the school reports your early completion to DIAC, you'll have 28 days from your course completion date (as determined by the school and reported to DIAC) to depart Australia or lodge a valid visa application for a further visa to remain in Australia. If you complete your course on time (not early), then the expiration date on your student visa applies. That's why the completion date of your course is so important. Would suggest you contact the school immediately and find out if they have reported your completion to DIAC, and if so, what completion date did they (or will they) report.
In practice, it's rare for DIAC to go after people who finish their course early and stay in Australia and work, etc (unlimited work once your course is out of session) for the remainder of their visa - part of it is luck, the other is how early you actually finish and your course completion date is reported to DIAC. |
