2012年伦敦奥运筹委会主席科欧说：“他们(奥运火炬的蓝衣护卫）太恐怖了，他们不会说英语……我觉得他们是恶棍。”

2012年伦敦奥运发言人证实，科欧说过这些话。科欧是1980年和1984年奥运男子1500米金牌得主。

一名筹委会发言人8日说：“科欧是在评论有关昨天（6日）火炬传递人员角色的媒体报导”，“他关切的是，他当时在火炬传递路线上被这些人对待的方式”。

Sebastian Coe, the London 2012 Olympics chief, was overheard by a British broadcaster describing the torch guards as "thugs" on Monday.
He said that organisers of the French leg of the torch relay, through Paris on Monday, should "get rid of those guys" because the Chinese officials "tried to push me out of the way three times."
"They are horrible. They did not speak English... I think they were thugs."
IOC officials gathering here for a meeting of the executive board on Thursday said they had heard of the problems but were unwilling to comment publicly.

我反复看了CNN及BBC的有关录像，也到某著名的妓院参观了一下他们的图片，感觉蓝衣护卫还是非常客气有礼貌的，没有非分之举，反而觉得他们太软，出手不够坚决，比如上面这张图片（图片来源<<大纪元>>), 似乎还在恳求那混蛋。

今天国际奥委会也表态了，中国派护卫是正常之举。

BEIJING (AFP) - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said Wednesday that China was within its rights to supply a team of escorts for the Olympic torch relay, amid charges they had behaved like "thugs."

"The torch relay escort team is always supplied by the organising committee of the Games. This is 100 percent normal and there is nothing unusual about it," IOC spokeswoman Giselle Davies said here.
