To be paid Family Tax Benefit you must be:


an Australian resident; OR
a Special Category visa holder residing in Australia; OR
the holder of a Criminal Justice Stay visa; OR
a holder of a temporary visa subclass 070, 309, 310, 447, 451, 695, 785, 786, 787, 820 or 826.


这里什么叫做Special Category visa？谢谢。

如果不享受FTB,是否可以申请dependant tax offset? 以这段话意思很模糊：

If you, or your spouse, were eligible for FTB partB during 2006-2007, you are only allowed to claim the tax offsets at this item in the following circumstances:

* condition 1
* condition 2

If neither circumstance applied to you, you will not be able to claim a Spouse or Child-housekeeper tax offset at this item.

457工作签证是没有任何福利的.同样情况还有495(现在475).NOTHING AT ALL.
SPECIAL CATEGORY VISA是某些特殊类别签证的意思.但是457不在之列.
