JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience:
Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications – science or healthcare related degree
Minimum of 5 years experience within a sales role within the pharmaceutical or optical industry
Experience selling to specialists or within a hospital environment Essential Skills and Abilities:
Strong sales background, with a proven track record of achieving targets / positive account management
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly
Effective negotiation, analysis and critical thinking skills
Ability to assimilate and effectively communicate technical medical information
Strong customer service orientation, with an ability to maintain a professional and ethical approach
Professional verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure within strict deadlines
Ability to work independently, effectively managing a territory of customers
Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
