请注意这是一个Volunteer Position.因为曾看到有帖子说,volunteer的机会也不好找,正好我做volunteer的地方需要人,就发上来了. ANTaR是个非常小的non-profit organization,详细资料可以看它的网站www.antar.org.au/.其办公室正式工作人员仅1.5人(part time),每天都有1-2个volunteer来做一些不同的工作,但只有Paul做IT维护.现在他有了别的工作.工作时间灵活,大概每周几小时.有意的TZ请在23Aug之前向Paul申请.需要了解其它情况的请站内短信我.
Web Support / Administration Volunteer Position
Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation (Victoria) currently has a position available for a volunteer to support the Web Support / Admin staff person as well as gain experience in the workplace engaged in the following areas:
• doing updates to the website through the hard-coding of html,css and javascript as well as image and file management.
• developing and maintaining various PHP 4 pages that access a mysql database.
• Ongoing maintenance of the in-house windows database application (written in C#.NET) in terms of bug fixes and introduction of new features as the organisation requires it.
• Configuring various aspects of the website using the online web-based control panel application provided by our isp.
Please note that while you may be taking part in all or just some of the activities mentioned above, you are not required to already know how to do all this.
Part of the value that you as a volunteer would get from this position is training in the various tasks that you may not know how to do right now. The key thing that is required is an aptitude for computer science, a willingness to learn and also a willingness to engage in the kind of issues that ANTaR Victoria is involved in.
