Our client is a leader in information services with over 4000 clients and more than 500 staff in cities and regional centres around Australia and New Zealand. It has grown rapidly over the years by constantly exceeding the needs of its customers, by developing new markets and investing in cutting edge technology.

This leader in information services has a challenging opportunity for a SQL Server Database Administrator on a contractual basis (Initial 6 months.)  

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

    * 2-3 years experience as a SQL DBA versions 2000 and ideally 2005
    * Demonstrated experience in tuning and Windows NT/Windows 2000/2003
    * Experience with performance management
    * Backup/disaster recovery operations for applications databases
    * Good documentation skills
    * Excellent communication skills
    * .net exposure is highly desirable
