Temporary Junior Accounts Assistant:
Company located in Rydalmere (Parramatta) is currently seeking to appoint a Temporary Accounts Clerk on a 6 month temporary contract.
In order to be considered for this position candidates should have the following qualifications and experience;
o Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Accounting
o Minimum 1-2 years experience in Accounting
Knowledge, Job Function, Duties & Responsibilities;
o Knowledge of accounting procedures
o Working knowledge of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
o Assist in the preparation of monthly & year end accounts
o Assist in the preparation of financial reports
o Perform month end accounting procedures and producing reports as required
o Making journal entries and extracting statistical data and reports from records for analysis
o Understanding of policies relating to accounts and payroll
o Preparing, balancing and reconciling different accounts
o Excellent communication & organizational skills
o High level of self motivation with a strong desire to keep up to date with legislation Industrial Awards/Enterprise Agreements, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and EEO principles
Fluent English is a must. Alos you may be required to liaise with our Spanish head office. It would be desirable that the applicant be able to understand, speak and write in Spanish.
Salary is $45K including super.
