ACCOUNTANT PUBLIC PRACTICE

We are a prominent public accounting and tax practice with three offices based in Sydney, seeking a full time accountant to become part of our friendly and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be located in our office in the Bankstown area.



Your Key Responsibilities:



• -Opportunity to manage and prepare tax returns & financials for small to medium sized business, with company, partnership or trust business structures

• -Expert in the review, analysis & completion of Business Activity Statement for own client portfolio base

• -Completion of annual PAYG summaries

• -Perform quality control audits on all BAS Statements

• -Manage and supervise the work output of assistant accountants The ideal candidate will possess:

• -Accounting tertiary qualifications – diploma or degree

• -Minimum 2 years experience in a public practice

• -Sound Handisoft program knowledge • -Advance MYOB skills

• -Banklink knowledge • -Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills

• -Solid technical knowledge of accounting & taxation

• -Expert in BAS end to end completion and GST specialist

• -Time management, problem solving & research skills

• -A 'can do' attitude • -Attention to Detail
