看来坛子里Excel Pro很少,或者不感兴趣。Anyway,分享一些大家或许会感兴趣的东西。打汉字有点慢,原谅我用英语写了。
The first Pic.below is pivot table, but it’s not a normal pivot table. I have multiple tables in the field list and each table has been expanded to show you all the columns belonging to that table. With normal pivot table you can only have one table. Wow,what’s going on here?I did this with PowerPivot, a new add in to Excel 2010. More on powerPivot later. Ok, if you look at the second picture. You will see something interesting. I have new tab on the ribbon called PowerPivot. Also, in the field list, I have something called measure which is indicated by a calculator-like thing. With powerpivot you can do lots of interesting stuff, like calculating running total for prior year or total sales year to date or month to date, in whichever way you want.
All right, what is powerpivot? Powerpivot is free add in for Excel 2010 only. If you still use Excel 2007, sorry, you are out of luck. Go get Excel 2010. The reason why MS built this is to make money, but in an indirect way. Most companies especially big ones can not afford investing Excel 2010.It’s a lot of money. Even government body is using Excel 2007. Without PowerPivot, really Excel 2010 has nothing to be proud of except a few more functions and sparklines, etc. But with PowerPivot, it’s a whole different story.
Essentially, PowerPivot is a self service business intelligence tool. Have you heard of SSAS (SQL server analysis service)or SSIS(SQL server integrated service)? With the advent of Powerpivot, the barrier between Excel Pro and BI or DB pro is vanishing. See third pic.
