Technology to the rescue
Househunting just got easier thanks to Commonwealth Bank’s new Property Guide iPhone app. Users can stand outside a property for sale, hold up their iPhone camera and instantly receive data (including number of bedrooms, price guide, auction data and floor plans). They will also find suburb profiles, median price and capital growth trends.
User can also view the sales history of properties not for sale. When asked if this was intrusive, Commonwealth Bank’s Mark Murray says there are no privacy concerns as it utilises the same data that has been available to subscribers for over a decade through RP Data and other sources. |
