Victoria State Rose Garden , Interested?

Sorry to be a pain as I can not type Chinese with my work computer.

I am a novice photo shooter in Melbourne. I am considering going to Victoria State Rose Garden on Sunday (10/04/2011) to do a bit floral photo practice. According to the weather forecast: Sunday: Cloudy. Scattered showers. Winds W/SW averaging 15 to 25 km/h. So it is not a bad day if you are interested in shooting roses. I wonder whether any one will be interested in joining me. If you do, please PM me or reply to the thread. Please note: I can not drive so I will rely on Public transport; I have not been there yet so I am not sure how the garden looks like. Surely there will be some flowers.

Q.  Where is the Victoria State Rose Garden (The Garden)?

A.   The Victoria State Rose Garden is located adjacent to The Mansion at Werribee Park in the Werribee Park Tourism Precinct (Melway Reference 201 B/C 3)

Q.   Can I get there by public  transport?
A.   The Metro Train from Melbourne to Werribee and then the 439 bus, which takes you right into the grounds of the Precinct.

Q.   When is the best time to visit the Garden?

A.   There are two "best" times, subject to weather. In November (spring) the first flush of blooms and the once-flowering spring roses are at their peak.  Then in March, the autumn flush of modern roses make it an excellent time to see masses of flowers.  We always have some blooms in the Garden from early October until late July.

Q.   Is there an entrance fee?

A.   No. Isn't it nice to go somewhere these days without having to pay a fortune? The volunteers aim to present a pleasant environment for public use and enjoyment; an informal relaxed atmosphere which invites leisurely exploration - a time to smell the roses!  However we do constantly need funds for new roses, equipment, tools, stakes, ties, etc. Hence the donation tube at the front entrance.

Maybe it is not the best time, but according to the FAQS:  "We always have some blooms in the Garden from early October until late July"

That is bad luck. I went here about 4 years ago in Feb, hot and humid, but plenty of flowers.

呵呵，墨尔本去哪里找枫叶呢，能否提示一下？

macedon可以，已经红了。近点的可以去MT ALBERT RD。

嗯，去帮一个朋友拍了点结婚照。FLICKR上放了一张红叶作证已经红了。
MT ALBERT最好看的那段现在去不了，好像地下在排管子，挖得一塌糊涂。名字我忘了，足迹上前两天有个帖子说墨尔本最漂亮的10条路，里面就提到了。

那张是今年的啊？我前两天看还以为是去年那次的。
不错。第二条那感觉比较好拍。

我知道大约在哪了，那一片都很美。

本来想拍日出。。。 大风，大雾..... 出来的结果。。。

大概5点出门， 6点到那... 能见度少于200M。 开车高灯就什么都看不到了。。。。 这样拍还能很美？ (monkey19)
补上一张memorial cross的入口， 那是大概8，9点了吧？
