2. You need to tell your DR that it is work related injure
3. ask for a COC - Certificate of capacity which clearly states out the "modified duty" or "unfit for all duties" and so on.
4. A typical COC expires in 14 days and you will need to see the DR again to get a new COC.
5. your employer has responsibility to give you a RTW - return to work plan and they need to consult with you
6. you may keep changing DR as you like....
7. normal RTW will give you higher than your normal wage as the goveronment will calculate you PIAWE - pre injury average weekly earnings (which covers your shift loadings, OT and allowances) and you will have 100% of that for first 10 days and then 95% + your work rate (if you RTW).....there is a fomula... bit complicate.....
8. I am a manager and I am also the RTW officer for our company. I always look after injuried workers and I am very angry about your employer's inresponsible behaviour if what you said was true.
