Problem: I have made lots of notes about the questions and answsers, these notes are saved in word documents. Since there are so many documents, later if I want to find a related note, the only thing I can count on is the word document titles. As my memory is not that good at all, I have to open many of them from time to time.

Question: Does anyone know any kind of information management software which costs less than $150 or even free? The basic functionalities I want to have are being able to put all these notes in a database, then I can search by keywords, classify in categories, something like application on-line help.

如果你只是要搜索WORD文件, WINDOWS自带的SEARCH就足够了.

A nice info management software. You just need to copy every thing into it. Then it's easy to organise and search.

It's a chinese software, the chinese name is 资料收藏大师, but support english interface.

Generally it's used to collect web pages. it can also export to chm format.

thanks. It's true, however, all the documents are a mess, I would like to index them and search in an organised manner. something like online help style.
