Position Title: Data Analyst

Position Overview:
The purpose of this role is to provide a responsive service to support the reporting and data needs of customers, primarily around our key reporting applications. The core objective of this role is to provide a responsive service to support the reporting needs of customers, primarily around our key reporting applications, including MPR, Reporting Centre and Markets Sales Analytics.

You will have a strong delivery based approach with superior customer service, business acumen and data/analytical skills. Although not a technical role, an understanding of data and reporting related technology will be looked upon favourably. Duties include but aren't limited to:

·  Support customers through responding to data queries and fulfilling requests for ad hoc reporting and analysis

·  Process regular data refreshes for our reporting applications

·  Continuously identify and implement improvements to the support function

·  Report on relevant quality assurance metrics and provide regular performance reporting to stakeholders against measures

·  Provide consultation to customers on data quality, definitions, locations, accessibility etc.

·  Conduct investigative analysis to identify quality issues and propose solutions

·  Provide explanation / definition relating to transaction and reference data in MI assets to existing and potential users

·  Facilitate user training for our reporting applications
