一直在用,有两对.

不是这型号,是上一代产品.速度一样,就是比较大,新的都比较苗条.

唯一不好的地方就是贵.

好处就是很方便.一插即用,稳定和直接走LAN CABLE一样.对我来说非常好用.

我的PS3和DONWLOAD SERVER都离开我的猫很远.我要他们有很稳定的连接还有速度所以无线不适合我.又不想拉线跨几个房间,解决方法就是用这POWERLINE

do you think that 'High speed data rates of up to 200Mbps' is necessary?
would Netcomm Np285($95) with 85mbps is good enough for media player & internet connection for DM800hd?

我现在用NP201AV看IPTV，感觉还行，不过距离远了会衰减的比较厉害。
NP202WN应该更好一些。

不推荐85的那级别的产品.那一代的产品有问题的.速度不稳定,上下浮动比较大. 尤其是它走电线的,环境不好衰减严重.

到了200这级别的好很多.我用的是CAT 5网线,想想就算着东西遇到不好的环境.速度只剩下一半了,瓶口还是在我的CAT 5线上...

how far is far?
I presume the distance between my 1st adapter(upstair) to 2nd one will within 20 meters.

what is CAT 5网线? any different to the standard RJxx cable?

取决于电力线的长度，而不是物理距离。

欧姆定律。V=IR
R为0.094 Ohm/m
I 估计为400mA (满载时）
NP201AV 电压为12V （待确认？）
20米CAT5的电线压降为：V=0.4×1.88=0.75V
电源电压降低到：12-0.75=11.25V < 95% of 12v
我看悬。除非电压再高一些。或CAT5电缆线长度15米以内。

总结：传输速度与电线老化程度，线路结构等有很大关系。若是家中无线路由衰减不是很厉害，还是用无线方便。

没有,事实上电猫是要PAIR UP来工作的. 我的是老款所以要连入电猫给它一个名字,然后另外一个也要一样名字才可以工作.
新的直接按一个PAIR UP按扭,然后另外一个也按.它们就自动找到对方了.

我的房子就有2组在工作.

资料太老啦,事实上从200M的那一代产品开始技术就走向成熟.问题少很多了.

另外，现在电力猫的传输速度是多少？还是200MB？使用寿命？

现在的电力猫即插即用,速度有22Mb/85Mb/200Mb 3种
家里用1组85Mb看卫星解密接楼上到楼下,用啦2年没问题.

我用了2年多了.还没有遇到任何问题.

现在的还是200MB,不过我最近看是新产品在路上.但是,新东西都贵这是要预期的.就算新一代出来了,大家都还会买200MB的一段时间.
但是我家的大部分线都还是CAT5,速度再上去也是受到我线路的限制.

卫星解密流量很小。我用个G的wifi router都没出问题

曾经挺感兴趣的, 不过现在设备逐渐都有802.11N支持了, 就没继续研究了

楼上各位实际使用的, 200Mbps的这个实际速率能到多少? (可以传输大点的文件试试看)

看了mobile01那文章说,  200Mbps是半双工, 这样算下来, 200 / 2 / 8 -- 实际传输能达到 10MB/s 左右么?
