Less is more(salt & pepper)
Do you have one hundred herbs&sauces?In spite of pantry full of all kinds of condiments,I decided to come back to the most basic cooking element today--- salt & pepper.
Wine rice+grilled blue grenadier&veggi
Ingredients: (service 2persons)
1 cup Medium grain rice,half cup brown grain rice
2 tbsp Wine
20g cheese(optional)
1 medium brown onion, finely chopped (half for rice,half for grilled vegi)
3 cup mushroom(1 for rice,2 for grilled vegi)
100g stock
500g water
1 bunch asparagus
100g pumpkin,chopped into cube 2cmx2cm appro.
1 carrot, chopped into cube 2cmx2cm appro.
1 lemon, cut into wedges to serve (optional)
Method:
Wine Rice:
1. In a small saucepan,put in some olive,heat the pan, combine ½ of the chopped onion , smashed garlic,1 sliced mushroom,stir well.
2. Put in the combined rice grain.Stir well,simmer for 2 Mins,then put in 50g stock and some water,keep stiring;put in 4 tbsp wine and stir.
3. Simmer for 2 Mins and put in some stock&water;repeat this process until the rice tender.put in the cheese until it combined with the rice.
4. Put the rice into a bowl and keep warm.
Grilled blue grenadier fillet&veggi:
1. Heat the grill pan, sprinkle the olive into the pan.
2. Put in smashed garlic and sliced onion,stir well,then put in two pieces of blue grenadier, asparagus& other veggie。
3. Cooked for 3 Min(depands on the size of the fillet) and turn the fillet,cook another 3 Min Season with salt and pepper. and place the fillet into a plate,keep cooking other veggie until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Before serve ,squeeze over a little lemon over the fillet. Divide vehhies equally among 2 plates and top each with 2 asparagus.
