1.sigma芯片的不支持rmvb，realtek的支持。但是sigma芯片效果好一些。
2.国内最火的爱国者8126和wd live同芯片，sigma 8655,800元以上，live 160aud，价格很接近，但爱国者做工粗糙

Bought ASUS O!Play yesterday for $150, love it, plays all the video format I throw at it, with crispy graphic output through HDMI

almost zero setup, and super easy to operate

I only know that OPlay suppot wider ranger video format than WD TV Live (WD TV Live no RMVB support)

bought my 'Astone Media Gear AP-110D USB & Network 1080p HD Media Player' for $85+$10(shipping)....very happy with it as well!..then got my WDTV sold for $100...

i love it, especially it supports: rmvb + DTS pass through + LAN + wireless

现在1080p都硬解了, 随便拿个什么crap CPU, 占用率都20%-30%或者更少哪.

不过不定哪天万一出来个新格式的(音频或者视频), 媒体播放机就不如HTPC来的灵活了. 用HTPC加个显卡估计就能对付新格式了.

但是不似一般的显卡都可以玩1080P

新的AMD HD5XXX 系列显卡据说硬解超牛, 支持"次世代"音频格式通过HDMI源码输出, 买个最低端的就够HTPC用了. 看来这也是今后显卡发展的趋势, 不必担心新格式出来现有系统没法搞定(除非显卡插槽也换掉了)
