TWO Harry Potter stars were the highest paid actors in 2009, according to Hollywood’s Top 40 list in Vanity Fair magazine's latest edition.
Emma Watson scooped the highest paid actress for 2009 with estimated earnings of US$30 million for starring in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, parts I and II.
She was placed No.14 in the top 40, behind a number of film producers and directors, and beat older and more experienced actresses including Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katherine Heigl.
Her co-star Daniel Radcliffe was the highest paid actor for 2009, at No. 6 on the list, with estimated earnings of $41 million for the same films.
In close second was Ben Stiller earning $40 million followed by Tom Hanks who earned $36 million.
Film director Michael Bay topped the list, earning an estimated $125 million for his blockbuster hit Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
