刚找到了工作，老板让填一份 tax file umber declaration 表。
其中第10个问题 do you want to claim a zone, overseas forces, dependant spouse or special tax offset by reducing the amount withheld from payments made to you?

我现在的情况是我老婆现在不工作，我是不是符合dependant spouse 的条件呢？刚在这边工作，还一头雾水，表上的解释看了半天也不是很明白什么意思。那位TZ 比较熟的，能帮忙讲下不？ 谢谢了。

最好选no.不然有后续多个表格要填。
你老婆如果符合depadent offset在年底tax return的时候申请跟简单明了一些，一共也没有多少钱，也不影响cash flow，所以不用在每月的income tax里claim回来会比较清楚。
